Children’s Museum Tournament for Play hits hole in one

ATLANTA -- More than 100 golfers teed up for charity at the prestigious Peachtree Golf Club for The Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s second annual golf outing, Tournament for Play, on Monday, Sept. 8. The fundraiser, presented by PNC, raised $135,000 to support the museum’s early childhood educational programming and community outreach through generous donations as well as golfer registration.

“The success of this year’s Tournament for Play is a testament to the ongoing support from our committed partners and patrons,” said Jane Turner, executive director of The Children’s Museum of Atlanta. “Their continued support allowed The Children’s Museum of Atlanta to exceed our fundraising goals and provide more dynamic exhibits and educational programming, and that truly is a hole in one for children, families and schools throughout the state!”
