ATLANTA -- Don Keough, Coca-Cola's former president, COO and director, died Tuesday. He was 88.
A Coca-Cola spokesperson confirmed Keough's death, saying he was surrounded by family members when he passed away.
"Our heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Keough family that loved Don so much. We share their loss, and we share their pride in the legacy of one of the truly great leaders in the history of business," Coca-Cola CEO Muhtar Kent said in a statement. "The world has lost a giant of a man in Don Keough, and we at Coca-Cola have lost an extraordinary leader, mentor and friend."
