DOWNTOWN: Kindness, veterans celebrated on 11-11-11 | News

ATLANTA -- All year, the Networks of 11Alive have been asking you to help us spread kindness and compassion as far as they will go.

Friday morning, students from across Metro Atlanta helped unravel a 10-mile-long chain of kindess during 11Alive's 11-11-11 Celebration of Kindness and Service at the Georgia Dome. Each link represents an individual act of kindness and compassion conducted this year.

The event also honored the countless sacrifices and service of Georgia's veterans with the largest Veterans Day celebration of its kind in the state.
