ATLANTA (WXIA) -- A suspect has been arrested in a fatal shooting at Underground Atlanta.

It happened at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. According to Atlanta Police Sgt. Ralph Woolfolk and MARTA Police's Lyle Harris, the victim went to the Peachtree Street exit of the Five Points MARTA station for help.

MARTA Police assisted Atlanta Police in taking 24-year-old Allan Dumas into custody near the CVS store on Forsyth Street on the opposite side of the Five Points Station.

The shooting victim was identified Friday morning as Maurice Cosby. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition and later died. Cosby was shot in the neck, according to police.

Dumas is being held in the Fulton County Jail on a murder charge. Police said he and Cosby were arguing before the shooting.
