City of Atlanta special election is Tuesday | News
ATLANTA -- Registered voters living in the City of Atlanta are reminded to cast their ballots for the City of Atlanta special election at their designated precinct on Tuesday, Mar. 17 to vote for infrastructure bond referendums to pay for repairs and improvements.
“Registered voters should verify their voting precinct and poll location before election day,” said Richard Barron, Director of Fulton County Registration and Elections. “They should check their registration card to make sure they know where to vote on March 17.”
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Fulton County Department of Registration and Election had to change one polling location for the Mar. 17 special election. All affected voters were notified of the changes in location by first-class mail. All concerned residents are urged to check on-line to find out if the change would affect their poll site on election day.
On Tuesday, Mar. 17, precinct polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To assist residents with identifying their precinct and poll locations, the department has posted District and Poll Locator maps on the Fulton County website.
