Road closed but businesses open for street car construction | News
ATLANTA -- A section of Edgewood Ave from Fort Street to Jackson Street will be closed to traffic from 7AM-10PM through the weekend, while crews relocate utilities for the Atlanta Street Car Project.
Area businesses will remain open however and the sidewalks are accessible to pedestrians. The City is also providing parking on nearby cross streets for business employees and patrons.
The 2.6 mile East/West street car line will run from The King Center to Centennial Olympic Park and will include twelve stations along the way.
