ATLANTA -- Grady Memorial Hospital is closing three Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program offices.
The federally-funded WIC program provides breastfeeding support and health food benefits for low-income women and children.
Grady planned to close offices on the hospital's 12th floor, and its Lindbergh and Ponce de Leon WIC centers.
The Grady Lindbergh WIC center is located at 2695 Buford Highway, Suite 200. The Ponce de Leon center is at 341 Ponce de Leon Avenue.
The hospital said it is working with the Georgia Department of Public Health to make the transition.
