The B-AWARE Foundation Presents the 5th Annual "A-Town Day" March 26, 2011

Atlanta, Ga.--  The largest outdoor community health outreach awareness festival and concert in the city of Atlanta continues to celebrate their 5th anniversary with an official health care festival, concert and day of awareness at Lakewood located at 2002 Lakewood Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30315. “We were looking for a classic venue; big enough for our fan base to grow, and a permanent home for A-Town Day, “said The B-AWARE Foundation’s originator, Mr. Brian Glasper.

Beginning Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 12pm, the family can enjoy fun-filled activities, food and music while receiving free health screenings and information.

With over 4,000 in attendance last year on Historic Sweet Auburn Avenue, the goal is to raise funds with the proceeds going towards The Diabetes Association of Atlanta & the B-AWARE Foundation. Children 6 and under are free and general admission is only $5.

Organizations taking part include: The Peach State Heath Plan, The Red Cross, The Diabetes Association of Atlanta, H&R Block, V-103, Creative Loafing, Rolling Out, The Atlanta Fire Department, McDonalds, The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, The West End Print Shop, Adnormous Graphics, All Pro Printing and many more.
