Atlanta Religious Leaders to Hold Interfaith Service for Climate Justice

Atlanta, GA--  Representatives from Atlanta’s Christian, Jewish and Islamic communities will come together to lead “Uniting Voices: An Interfaith Worship Service to Embrace the Call to Climate Justice.” The event will feature readings, reflections, music and actions focused on stewardship of the Earth and the need to restore the planet’s climate to a state of stability. The service joins thousands of events worldwide on Oct. 10 organized by 350.org calling attention to the need to address climate change. Participants will pledge an “offering of letters” asking members of Congress to take action.

Pre-FLUX Castleberry Hill Clean Up!

Join us Saturday, September 25th from 9am-12pm for a Clean Up to get the neighborhood ready for the FLUX art event the following weekend!

Meet in front of Mueller Lofts (376 Nelson St in Castleberry Hill) and we’ll split up from there! Print a flier and help us promote the clean up!

We will have volunteers to help us as well as Sublime doughnuts & coffee (from Cre8ive Websites) and water (from the Chevron on Northside at Markham) and lunch is sponsored by No Mas! Cantina!
