Shoe Soles are Helping Atlanta's Homeless Souls | Community Spirit
Homeless Residents Will Benefit from Generosity of Three Atlanta Organizations During the Holiday Season
On Tuesday, December 20th three Atlanta-based organizations will join forces to make it a joyous Christmas for homeless residents of English Avenue and Vine City.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 40 Girls and Some Shoes (www.40girlsandsomeshoes.org) will use its office at 19 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. as a distribution site for over 400 pairs of shoes and socks donated by members of Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Lilburn. Flat Out of Heels LLC, creator of stylish, compact, rollable ballet flats for women with aching fee, will donate $10.00 from every pair of shoes sold all day on www.FlatoutofHeels.com to 40 Girls and Some Shoes.
Flat Outs come tightly rolled in a disposable box with a shoe bag included. They are available for $19.99 +$4.50 shipping in sizes small (5-6.5), medium (7-8.5) and large (9-10.5) in metallic gold, silver, red and black.
All three organizations believe that helping the less fortunate in the community during the holiday is the best way to celebrate the season.
