Verizon to start selling iPhone on Feb. 10

NEW YORK (USA  Today) -- Consumers who lusted after an Apple iPhone but wanted to stick with Verizon Wireless's network finally got their wish on Tuesday.

The companies announced that Verizon customers will be able to buy a slightly modified version of the popular iPhone 4 beginning in early February. Up to now, the phone was only available to AT&T's wireless customers.

Existing Verizon customers can pre-order the phones online beginning Feb. 3. They'll be available to everyone, and in stores, beginning Feb. 10.

Customers who sign up for a two-year service plan with Verizon can get a model with 16 GB of memory for $199.99, and one with 32 GB for $299.99.
