Atlanta Successfully Hosted The 1st BronzeLens Film Festival this past weekend

Atlanta, GA--  The 1st Annual BronzeLens Film Festival was held in downtown Atlanta from November 11th-14th. The festival featured screenings, panel discussions, and workshops for and by people of color.

Atlanta has become a natural hub for the film industry as production companies continue to receive tax incentives and large names like Tyler Perry and Rainforest Films are local companies performing big at the Box office.

Two of the festival's first ever honorees were Roger Bob, EVP of Tyler Perry Studios who won the BronzeLens Founders Award, and actress Lynn Whitfield who was honored as a BronzeLens Legendary Superstar.

With a list of major corporate sponsors, and a strong Board of Advisors that reads like a "who's-who" list of the Atlanta Arts community, the BronzeLens Film Festival is sure to be here in Atlanta for a long time to come.
