Fulton County Proposes Amendments to the Fiscal Year 2012 Community Housing and Emergency Solutions |

30-day comment period begins February 17

The Fulton County Housing and Human Services Department is proposing amendments to the County’s Fiscal Year 2012 Final Statement and Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan. The amendments are related to Community and Housing Development objectives and the proposed use of funds for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).  

Fulton County proposes that the federal fiscal year 2012 Fulton County Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan be amended in accordance with its Citizen Participation Plan and the regulations governing the CDBG, HOME, and ESG programs.  The amendments are available for public review and comment from February 17 through March 18, 2012.   Any comments on the proposed amendments must be received in writing by 5:00 pm March 18, 2012, at the following address:

Public Hearing Schedule

Citizens are encouraged to attend and participate in the public hearings to assist the County in finalizing its amendments to the 2012 Action Plan.  Comments will be provided to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, which will consider adoption of the amendments for the 2012 Action Plan at its scheduled meeting of April 4, 2012.  The scheduled public hearings are:
