TBS and Comcast's Xfinity Brings the Lopez Party Bus Tour to this week's Falcon's Game

Atlanta, GA--  Xfinity from Comcast and TBS present the Lopez Party Bus Tour!

The mobile tour will stop in Atlanta on Sept. 19 before the Atlanta Falcon’s game, from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., in Lot A (“The Gulch”) at Park Avenue West, off Marietta Street.

The Lopez Party Bus Tour is designed to interact directly with viewers with the fun and excitement of the show.  Participants will experience the atmosphere of the show via a 36’ trailer designed as a club environment with video walls, booming speakers, spotlights, video studios, disc jockeys and dancers.  A video crew at each tour stop will record guests telling jokes, dancing and enjoying the party and stream live footage of the event on Ustream.  The tour will use additional viral media components including Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare to showcase the bus schedule, and upload photos and video.

The Lopez Party Bus Tour also features various activities, including:

  • Stand-Up Comedy Showdown where attendees are invited to step onto the stage for a stand-up competition and a winner is selected based on crowd cheers (one winner per event).
  • Rock-Out Challenge where participants have the opportunity to perform the show’s opening song for a chance to win various prizes.
  • Whip It Out where participants will be invited to take challenges like the ones on the show and win prizes.
  • Green Screen Experience where attendees can have their picture taken with Lopez via a green screen image and download from LopezTonight.com.
  • Shout-Out Video Booth, a confessional-style recording booth, where participants can give their personal shout-outs to Lopez.

The late-night landscape has shifted as comedian and actor George Lopez headlines this new talk show for TBS.  The program brings the excitement back to late night with an outdoor street-party atmosphere and a high-energy crowd.  The fun includes visits from celebrity guests, live music and comedy acts and the benefit of George’s own flair and personality.  The wildly enthusiastic crowd enjoys a street-party atmosphere as George welcomes visits from celebrity guests, live music and memorable comedy bits.  Since premiering in 2009, this late-night hit has delivered big for TBS, averaging 1.2 million viewers and attracting large numbers of young adults and Hispanic viewers.  Lopez and Jim Paratore (The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Bonnie Hunt Show) serve as the executive producers for the series, which is produced for TBS by 2.2 Productions, paraMedia Inc. and Telepictures Productions.  LOPEZ TONIGHT airs on TBS, weeknights at 11 p.m. (ET/PT).
